The village of Pefki is among the most beautiful and upcoming tourist areas of Southern Rhodes, full of hotels and rooms to let. Its name derives from the many pine trees that can be seen everywhere in the area (“pefki” is the Greek word for “pines”). Pefki is situated between Lindos and Lardos, within a distance of 5 kilometers from the ancient acropolis of Lindos and its famous monuments. There are buses from Pefki to Rhodes and Lindos every 30 minutes, in case you don’t wish to rent a car or a motorcycle. Inside the village apart from tourist facilities you will be able to find a mini market, a pharmacy, cafeterias, bars and restaurants. |
