The village of Saktouria is a part of the municipality of Lambi and is located on an altitude of 540 m above the level of the sea. Giannoudi is a beautiful Venetian village which is located 3 km away from Rethimno and approximately 70 km from Heraklion and Chania, in the northern part of Crete. Its former name used to be Monastiriako, which had been abandoned for some time, but later it was restored to its present condition. Rodakino is a small village located 42 kms from Rethimnon, 27 kms from Hora Sfakion and 13 kms from Fragokastello. Part of the village is located on top of a hill (called Epano Rodakino) and part of it by the beach (Kato Rodakino) . This village in the municipality of Lambi counts 254 inhabitants. It lies at 300 m above sea-level and is 34.5 km away from Rethymnon, on the road Kissos-Aktounta-Ardaktos-Drimiskos Kerame.
